Presenting the MFA

Hello everyone, and welcome to the MFA's blog. The premise is simple: "people" submit questions, and the MFA delivers an answer, or more accurately, the MFA uses the question as a jumping-off point to pontificate about some tangential matter. So it will go.

Until the MFA has received questions from the general public, she will provide answers delivered by the divine Philly Oracle located on the corner of 15th and South Streets, just next to the graffiti-covered City Paper dispenser and the long-defunct pay phone.

It is likely that a significant portion of the questions and answers will concern matters of general interest to Philadelphians, such as the best places in the city to view attractive men, favorite shoe stores, and why so many people in South Philly don't pick up their fucking dog poop. It is the MFA's sincere hope that my vast store of wisdom can somehow improve the lives of readers in these important, if humble, arenas. Magna res et vocis et silentii temperamentum—the great thing is to know when to speak and when to keep quiet, and lucky for you(s) the MFA has not yet learned.
